Group Services for Children & Organizations

Group Emotion & Social Thinking Therapy - For children within the same 2-3 year developmental period. These groups target children who struggle with being successful socially and who may experience anxiety or have an inability to be in control of their emotions. It helps children access solutions and develop coping skills while practicing connecting with other children.

Maximum 10 participants per group. Usually once or twice a week for 1.5 hours with length depending on the program.

Building your Child’s Emotional Intelligence: This workshop helps us understand the importance parents can play in building their children’s emotional intelligence along with modeling of specific tools and experience practicing them.

Anxiety in Children: After this workshop participants can recognize the signs and symptoms of anxiety and how it hinders children’s development. Also offered are strategies and tools to assist parents in managing their own anxiety while helping their children in understanding and conquering it too.

The Importance of Play in Development & Attachment: This workshop explains the importance of child caregiver attachment and how play is a vital activity for building attachment and for assisting in the healthy development of children.

Trauma & Development: Everyone is affected by trauma in their lives and this workshop explains how trauma and toxic stress affects brain development, self regulation, attachment, social relationships, learning, and mental health. Specific strategies for helping children improve their functioning after trauma are shared.

Understanding Your Child's Brain: This workshop explains the crucial role caregivers play in building their child's healthy brain. Participants will gain an understanding of how the brain develops and how it is influenced by many factors, including a child's relationships, experiences and environment.

Managing Big Feelings: Here we learn about the nervous system and what we can do to help kids through big feelings. Special focus on understanding co-regulation, and knowing how to be with and help them organize their experiences.
